Linda’s has a new home.
This blog post is overdue., and I apologize about that. I wasn’t able to write any new blog post because I updated my page builder plugin on my webpage and it needed to have some kinks worked out for me to use it. Sometimes the old version is the better version. So in the month since my last blog post I am very happy to say Linda and her family were able to move into her new home.
This home was built in record time, with the help of a local church and a small group of Canadian missionaries who come to the Dominican Republic every year to build homes for deserving families. Linda’s home was destroyed by a fire that started at a neighbors house and spread to hers. She lost everything that day, but in the end she has a new home that is more secure, because this house is built out of concrete not wood, and larger by 30 square foot.
On Behave of Lee and Gerry and I , we would like to thank everyone who donated to the rebuild and outfitting of the new home. This truly was a blessing for Linda and she was most graceful and truly appreciative of everything that was done for her.
